Tyga’s Careless World Pulled From Store Shelves – Releases Digitally On Itunes
The other day we wrote about Tyga’s album “Careless World” being pulled from store shelves due to having an unauthorized Martin Luther King sample on the title track. We noted in the post that Tyga was indicating that Careless World would be released “everywhere” on the 21st as planned, but that just doesn’t seem to be the case.
While the album did go on sale last night on Itunes, the title track was altered and Martin Luther King was removed from the audio. It’s much easier and quicker to change digital files, but much hard for physical copies.
It appears the album has been removed from Target as well. Judging from some fans reaction on twitter they seem to believe the album is sold out at retailers. Not so. It’s been pulled for unauthorized use of a Martin Luther King recording.
Sidebar: While I feel bad for Tyga in the situation, at least address the situation. Sending your fans on a pointless search for a product that is not on store shelves is shitty.
