Bon Iver fans might be pressed to hear that Justin Vernon isn’t planning to release another album with the band for at least another three years.

“But it could be five,” he said, “It just depends when the songs come about. I sort of have to wait ’til they reveal themselves.”

But in an interview with USA Today, the Grammy nominee revealed that he’ll be keeping busy without the rest of the band. In addition to working on a new album with his indie band Volcano Choir and  making music with “blues gospel band,” the Shouting Matches, the singer also has been in the studio with Alicia Keys.

Hit up Pitchfork to get details of the charity songbook he wants to do with Keys, Bonnie Raitt, and other great women singers as well as peep the video for “Holocene” off of Bon Iver’s self titled album.
