Kate Upton Covers Sports Illustrated’s 2013 Swimsuit Issue
Model Kate Upton becomes the first woman since Tyra Banks in ’96 and ’97 to cover Sports Illustrated’s beloved swimsuit issue in back-to-back years. At 19, Upton graced the cover of the 2012 issue in a tiny red bikini, and it was this moment that sparked her ever-growing modeling career. This year’s swimsuit issue covers all seven continents, and Upton was photographed in ice cold Antarctica, as seen on the cover. It’s absolutely magical. Also in the issue are this year’s rookie Hannah Davis and Alabama QB AJ McCarron’s now famous girlfriend Katherine Webb.
