Justin Timberlake and Pharrell-The Justified Sessions
Ever since Justin made his announcement, the world has been buzzing about what music Timberlake has in store for the masses. It’s been 6 years since JT dropped his successful Timbaland production driven sophomore classic of FutureSex/LoveSounds. However, it’s been over a decade since he dropped his debut album that was driven by Pharrell’s production and was simply titled: Justified. Justified was the album where Timberlake wanted to show the world that he wasn’t the cute little boy from *NSYNC anymore and he was his own man and his own artist. Kinda sounds familiar right?..Some people also feel that Justifed was Timberlake’s best album. And they can thank the team of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, other wise known as The Neptunes, for constructing the album for what it is.
What Quincy Jones was to Michael Jackson, that’s who Pharrell was for Justin Timberlake. Pharrell and Timberlake had a lot of chemistry when they were both in the studio. And it really showed in the music that they created, like Like I Love You, Rock Your Body, Senorita, and many more. Footage of their recording sessions have been online for years and not alot of people know about it. Scenes of it was briefly shown in the documentary MTV did for Timberlake when his album was about to be released. There was about 14 hours of footage that was shot, and a lot of it is spread across the net. You will see clips of beat creating, jam sessions, and what it took to create a hit record. We can only hope that soon JT and Skateboard P get back in the studio…but for now…here is footage from the Justified sessions.
