Actor Lamorne Morris of ‘New Girl’ Spoofs Trinidad James in “No Gold Anything” (Video)

Much has been made of Atlanta rapper Trinidad James as of late, mostly about the fact that he’s only been rapping for 10 months and still managed to con Def Jam into a $2 million deal. If you’re tired of all the think pieces and tumblr rants, maybe you’ll enjoy this video. Actor Lamorne Morris, who plays Winston on FOX’s New Girl, creates a spoof of Trinidad’s YouTube sensation as Belizean James with “No Gold Anything”.

He really hits everything right on the head with this one — the outfits, the rapping style, the fact that his might could have actually been written by Trinidad James. Hopefully, if this shit blows up, they’ll do more with Winston on the show.
