The 20 Highest Grossing Films of 2012
There seemed to be an abundance of absolute blockbusters released in 2012. The list of highest earning movies spans from comic book adaptations to sci-fi epics to animated children’s films. Still, there are definitely some surprises when it comes to the order of the highest grossing films of 2012 list. For one, Pixar’s Brave was not the highest grossing animated film, not even the second highest. Also, Skyfall is rather high on the list, considering it was only released a little over a month ago. It’s also rather appalling that some of these movies even made the list (Battleship? really?).
