Of course you do! Ever since the classic sketch from the Chappelle’s Show, we’ve always wondered just how true those Charlie Murphy True Hollywood stories actually were. Very true, it turns out. Neal Brennan, co-creator of the Chappelle’s Show, tweeted this picture which Charlie texted to him earlier of himself and the 80s legend Rick James. The picture must have been taken before the couch incident occurred.

We don’t know that Dave and Neal ever got a chance to meet Rick James before he passed, but we know for sure that they got to hang out with Prince one time. Questlove was there. I swear you can’t make this up.
