Skylar Grey feat. Eminem – C’mon Let Me Ride

First thought that legitimately ran through my head just now: Is Skylar Grey related to Sasha Grey?

If you haven’t heard the story at this point, Skylar Grey was supposed to be Interscope’s money maker after she and producer Alex Da Kid were responsible for essentially every major rap hit a year ago. She never actually put out an album though. And at this point, who knows if people even remember her. That said, she planned to put out an album, but it kind of sucked, so Eminem came through, made himself executive producer, and revamped it. Here’s the first single from her project Don’t Look Down, “C’mon Let Me Ride“, featuring the Detroit rapper. The third collaboration between the two — the first, Eminem & Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie“; the second, Dr. Dre, Eminem and Skylar’s “I Need A Doctor” — finds Em interpolating a classic chorus from Queen’s “Bicycle”. Don’t Look Down drops sometime next year. Expect the video for the song soon.
