Johnta Austin – What A Feeling (Prod. by Jermaine Dupri & B. Cox)

Singer-songwriter extraordinaire Johnta Austin has literally been meaning to release his album Love, Sex & Religion for years. I literally remember hearing his single “Close Your Eyes” on DaJaz1 however many years ago, after months and months of watching Jermaine Dupri’s “Living The Life” YouTube series. Safe to say, no actual Johnta album has been released in the last three years, and the odds of it every actually dropping are slim. Although I’m sure there’s a number of publishing checks he’s collected from all the writing he’s done in that time.

Some time ago, Johnta announced releasing a mixtape series for the fans that have been waiting. “What A Feeling” is Johnta’s first offering from his Love mixtape. The Sex and Religion mixtapes will follow shortly after Love’s release (if it ever actually comes out). The song is produced by Johnta’s usual collaborators Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox.
