J. Cole Explains “Miss America” Single (Video)

Last night, J. Cole was nominated for two American Music Awards but unfortunately came up empty after the show was done. It’s okay. It’s not like anyone really watches the AMAs. Or knows why they exist. On the red carpet before the show, Cole was asked about his new single “Miss America“. He discusses releasing an unconventional single as a way to shift the culture and holding off on the more traditional singles. His upcoming album Born Sinner was scheduled to be released on January 28, his birthday, but at this point that date is pretty uncertain. Cole also says he mentions to shoot a short film next month.
