Dajaz1′s Top 30 Best Eminem Collaboration Records
“Eminem murdered you on your own shit” was a line that Nas made famous on Ether. It wasn’t just meant for Hov, it was meant for damn near ANY artist who has EVER wanted to jump on a track with hip-hop’s “Great White American Hope”. Through out Em’s career, he has had COUNTLESS memorable verses, rather it was on his record or on somebody else’s record. If you are gonna jump on a song with Marshall Mathers you better bring your A game, or else Slim Shady is gonna leave you in the dust. Lately Slim has been jumping on records that are very…let’s just say..random. I let the Pink shit slide and the Rihanna track made me scratch my head. However recently he has jumped on a song with Skylar Grey that really just leaves me..speechless. I don’t know if he is trying to become more “mainstream” or trying to widen his audience, I really don’t know. He is pretty much becoming everything that he once hated…he is becoming “Pop” But that discussion is for another time or day.
For the past decade Eminem has collaborated with hundreds of artist, and he has murdered them on damn near ALL their records. Rather it was his records, or their own. Em really shines when he has somebody else accompanying him on a track. That is when he just blacks out and he let’s the other artist know that he is the rawest rapper in the game right now. If you don’t believe me, just ask all the artists that jumped on a track with him. This was REALLY difficult to do because Em has so many memorable verses, that it would take forever to list them all. So we narrowed it down to just 30 records. Also just to let y’all know, we didn’t count his records with D-12 or his Bad Meets Evil records because that is more of a group effort then collaboration. Anyway, without further ado, here are the Top 30 Best Eminem Collaboration Records.
