Jeweler/Sneaker Fiend/Twitter Personality Ben Baller got a chance to kick it in the studio with DJ Whoo Kid on Shade45. They talk about Ben’s issues with the other prominent jewelers in the rap world, but things get interesting when he talks about his days with Dr. Dre and Aftermath. He specifically mentions the harddrive he has with the original Jay-Z reference for “Still D.R.E.”, leftovers from The Firm album, and the unreleased King Tee and Hittman albums. He mentions how one of the beats for Hittman ended up being “Heat” for 50 Cent. He also explains how Aftermath switched up after Eminem came in, which lead to the other artists’ albums not being released. There’s also some tidbits about some of Ben’s famous clients.
