Watch Live: Red Bull Stratos – Felix Baumgartner Attempts Record Breaking Free Fall From The Edge Of Space
Watch live as Austrian Felix Baumgartner attempts a 23 Mile free fall from the edge of space. The jump from 120k feet will break the record of 103k feet set in 1960. The jump will also attempt to break the sound barrier making Felix the first human being to break the sound barrier with his body outside out of an airplane. The jump is quite dangerous as there are many medical questions about a human being being able to survive at that height outside of a pressurized setting.
Felix is currently ascending at a rate of about 1000 feet per minute.
