T.I. feat. Lil Wayne – Ball (Video)
After his first two official singles “Love This Life” (which I, for the record, enjoyed) and “Go Get It” were met with mixed reviews, T.I. now delivers “Ball” with Lil Wayne from his upcoming eighth studio album Trouble Man. The song is produced by Rico Love, oddly enough, since it sounds like a New Orleans bounce record. I just find it so strange that these huge stars really need Wayne to make any noise when it comes to passive fans/non-urban audiences. Like, Wayne is really the only famous rapper that can do this? Not even that, you can’t do a song on your own or maybe with an up-and-coming young star? People seemed to respond well to the DJ Toomp-produced “Trap Back Jumpin’“, but this is the single that will likely get the big push.
