Snoop Dogg, DJ Quik, Kendrick Lamar, YG, Kurupt, Xzibit & E-40 Cypher at 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards (Video)
WEST COAST CYPHER! At some point, BET is really going to run out of these categories to group these rappers in for the cyphers. That said, this one is really dope. It includes west coast legends Snoop Dogg, DJ Quik, E-40, Xzibit, Kurupt and newcomers Kendrick Lamar and YG. What’s really cool about this is that, for the most part, they’re all friends and have done songs with each other in the past. You can almost feel the chemistry even though this is an individual exercise. Also, Quik is banging on the table on top of the beat like we’re back in the lunchroom. This cypher definitely takes the cake so far.
