Sky Ferreira – Ghost EP (Stream)

Singer (and apparently also model and actress, according to Wikipedia) Sky Ferreira is set to release her second official EP Ghost this coming Tuesday, but before that happens you can stream the entire five-song project, courtesy of her Tumblr. The EP seems to span several genres, with alternative sounds that border country to modern dance numbers to throwback eighties jams. She really worked with the most eclectic (if not completely random) group of producers: Bloodshy & Avant (Britney Spears “Toxic”), Jon Brion (Kanye West, Fiona Apple), and Dev Hynes (Blood Orange), among others. It doesn’t necessarily build her up as a better artist. It more establishes her to all these different niche fan bases. All I know is that “Everything Is Embarassing” has been for the last few months and will always be the greatest single song I’ve ever heard in my life, and I won’t stop until all of the world understands this.
