New Album Artwork from Rihanna & Nicki Minaj

This morning Rihanna revealed the title and cover of her upcoming seventh album Unapologetic. You probably couldn’t tell from the album’s first single “Diamonds“, but the artwork suggests some darker themes from the Barbados-bred beauty. Rihanna recently seems to have rekindled a romantic relationship with former flame/abuser Chris Brown, and this will no doubt make its way to the album’s content. Rihanna appears naked but confident, brooding but not damaged on this cover. I guess we’ll have to wait until the album’s release, November 19, to find out what she’s really thinking.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is re-releasing the same album for the fifteenth time. Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up (really?) drops officially November 19, as well. Either she just can’t come up with a new album title or she really thinks that these re-releases are a good idea. The Re-Up will come packed with a handful of new songs.
