Jay-Z’s Eighth and Final Concert at the Barclays Center (Live Stream)
How many damn Jay-Z concerts have been live streamed in the past three years? Seriously, I’ve OD’d on seeing Hov live and I’ve only actually seen him twice in person. This year alone, there was South by Southwest (SXSW) and Jay’s Made In America festival. Previously there’s been his headlining performance at Coachella, the FUSE show the day Blueprint 3 dropped, and I feel like there’s probably a few more I’m still missing. I don’t even pay attention to when they happen. I just wait for Dynamics to tweet “<>” and I figure there’s a show being streamed.
Here we go again with the streaming. I get it. Hov is a big deal. But it’s literally the same show every time. He usually switches up the medley he does 3/4 of the way into the show. And at Made In America, he did unusual joints like “Murda Murda”, but shit’s all the same. We’ve read summaries of the other seven shows he’s performed this week. Bringing out Big Daddy Kane was probably the highlight, but whatever, dude. It’s important because the Barclays is finally opening, and the Nets have moved to Brooklyn, but eff all that. Tonight’s show better be the most incredible show ever.
