Bruno Mars served double duties last night on NBC’s Saturday Night Live as both the show’s host and performer. He really did a surprisingly fantastic job starring in four different sketches, including the “Pandora” sketch in which he played an intern that needed to perform impersonations of everyone from Michael Jackson to Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day. Bruno ended the night by performing his single “Locked Out of Heaven” and a new song “Young Wild  Girls”, a ballad dedicated to not being able to keep up with the young party girls of the world.

Bruno Mars definitely made the most out of his opportunity to host SNL. He really knows how to impersonate as well as make a pretty convincing girl. I didn’t see the show live the other night since I was working late at DISH. I set up my Hopper to automatically record SNL so I could watch it the next morning. It’s nice that I can have the entire season on my DVR, and still have plenty of recording space left over. Bruno Mars is one of my favorite artists, and I hope he hosts again in the future.
