Rihanna & ASAP Rocky Open the 2012 MTV VMAs (Video)

If you’re not watching Obama speak at the Democratic National Convention or at Fashion Night Out in New York, perhaps you stumbled upon this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. The awards have a history of incredible, shocking openings and all around surprising events. This year pop princess Rihanna got a chance to open the show with her dirty new single “Cockiness“, and she brought along newcomer ASAP Rocky to perform the remix to the song.
