LEGO Celebrates 80th Anniversary with Animated Short ‘The LEGO Story’ (Video)
Renowned toy company LEGO celebrates its 80th anniversary today, and with it comes the animated short film The LEGO Story, documenting the toy company’s creator Ole Kirk Christiansen and his toy company. The film showcases the Danish toy maker and his sons’ unsuccessful beginnings in Denmark in 1932 and how that transformed into the beloved toy empire that exists today. It’s a wonderful story that proves the outcome of always having good quality craftsmanship. Fun Fact: After several years as a wooden toy business, it wasn’t until 1954 that the plastic bricks were introduced.
