Frank Ocean to Perform at 2012 Video Music Awards + Saturday Night Live
Frank Ocean has been announced as a performer for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, joining a list that includes Green Day, P!nk, One Direction, and Talor Swift (if that list without Frank doesn’t make you realize how bad MTV has fallen off, or how strange “popular music” culture is, I don’t know what will. Seriously it’s like who? what year is this? really, no rappers?). The 2012 VMAs will air live on MTV from Staples Center in Los Angeles on September 6 at 8 pm EST. HitsDailyDouble also reports that Frank will perform at the series premiere of Saturday Night Live. Frank is no stranger to the NBC studios at 30 Rock, having performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon before his album dropped. His debut album channel ORANGE is available now.
