Pras Talks 2Pac, Suge Knight, Wyclef, Lauryn Hill & Beef on the Champs Podcast

In what Questlove refers to “the most revealing hip-hop story since the Tribe doc”, Pras sits down for the Champs podcast with co-creator of the Chappelle’s Show, Neal Brennan, Moshe Kasher and DJ Douggpound. They discuss recently running into to Suge Knight, how Pras knew 2Pac, going to high school with Zach Braff (LOL!), and originally starting a group in high school called The Time that included Wyclef and Lauryn Hill. Other fun things to learn: Pras went to both Rutgers and Yale, alongside Edward Norton. The original name for The Fugees was The Translators.

Pras, who sound a lot like 2 Chainz, also breaks down the crazy shit that happened while making The Score, how the tension developed, and much, much more. Pras was also a part of two documentaries, which he explains. In one, Pras lived the experience of a homeless man (too easy) at Skid Row in LA. In the other, Pras went to Somalia to film the story of pirates, but he actually gets kidnapped. YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS UP.
