T.I. – Love This Life
A snippet of this song leaked a few days ago, but now here’s the full version of T.I.‘s official single from his eighth studio album Trouble Man. Produced by Mars of 1500 or Nothin’, the song is meant to speak to women from a man’s perspective. This is technically the third single Atlantic has released for this album, the first being “Flexin’”, featuring and produced by Big K.R.I.T., and the other being “Hear Ye, Hear Ye” featuring Pharrell and produced by The Neptunes. “Love This Life” is the radio-friendly T.I. that at this point we’re forced to expect at this point. You’d think he’d be in a position to really push a more Atlanta-driven sound, especially after the positive response for his mixtape F*ck Da City Up. I mean this is the same man who made “What You Know” a huge hit. At the same time after doing two stints in prison and having a reality show that followed him and his family, it probably makes more sense to do a song like this. Trouble Man is set to drop sometime this summer.
Since he dropped that mixtape, T.I. has been busy adding talent to his Grand Hustle roster. He has since signed Australian sensation Iggy Azalea, rapper D.O.P.E. and Houston’s Trae Da Truth. We can look forward to releases from them soon and potentially appearances by them on Trouble Man. Not everything has been confirmed, but we do know that Tip has been in the studio with Rick Ross, Just Blaze and Dr. Dre, and we may potentially see appearances by Kanye West and Meek Mill.
