DJ ENVY RESIGNS FROM HOT 97
Yup! The homie quit Hot 97 today & he's moving on to bigger & better things... Everyone will understand the situation (hopefully within a week) although the internets are buzzin strong... Maybe I should've directed all of my aim messages, emails & phone calls towards the other sites who posted the small info/rumors that they received while I was on my way back from my 6 day getaway... Of course I know more details but I'm quiet....

After eight years of working on Hot 97, I decided to leave. I resigned today after doing the "New @ 2" for a year. It was a successful show where I played nothing but new music. I also did mornings for five years with Miss Jones, did midday for a year & have had several mix shows. I will miss Hot 97 & appreciate everyone for riding with me.

WOW! Honestly though, after Miss Jones in the Morn ended, I stopped listening to Hot97 altogether. The Miss Jones/DJ Envy/Michael Sean combo motivated me to keep a radio in my house. Anyway, I wish him the best.
