Beyonce's "I AM... Tour" (Play By Play According To Me)

Note: This is just my quick rundown of the show broken up how I wanna bring it to y'all. The show is at least 50 times more exciting watching it. Beyonce can perform her ass off. I'm a fan off her singing, dancing, her look, her body, etc. but it's worth whatever you pay for the ticket.

Opening up....

Rich Girl.... (7:35 - 7:50)
They start out sitting on different size ladders as the spotlight shines on them separately as they come down to the stage & perform their lead single "24" (24 Inches). They then introduce themselves & go into an acapella of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". The crowd gives them a better response that I thought they would as they go into their 2nd single off the album, "He Aint Wit Me Now (Tho)". End of their performance.

35 Minute Intermission

Beyonce.... (8:25 PM - 10:27 PM)
Smoke all over the stage as she walks out (probably saying to herself... I had y'all wait for 35 minutes & y'all waited, so what lol). She comes out performing Crazy In Love. Right when Jay Z's verse is supposed to come on, he walks out & does his verse to "Give It To Me". Crowd loses their mind as expected. He exits the stage & she finishes the song. She then goes into Naughty Girl & Freakum Dress. She stops the music & talks to the crowd for a few minutes checking to see what side of the audicene is the loudest. After everyone loses their voice, she goes into Get Me Bodied as the chicks in front of me were doing the Running Man. She slides off stage as she leaves the dancers dancing as she prepares for the next song. As the dancers exit, the stairs rise in the middle of the stage as a video of waves flowing on a beach play in the background as she appears in all white at the top of the stage. She sings Ava Maria, Angel (by Sarah McLachlan), Broken Hearted Girl & If I Were A Boy, (I like r&b but this was too many ballads for me at once). She then runs off the stage.

There's a video playing in the background of her looking extra robotic while there's a leopard running past her while she's in the snow as Sweet Dreams (Beautiful Nightmare) plays for a full verse & a hook. She comes back out returning on the stairs as Diva comes on the crowd goes crazy. When she's done, there's two guys & a girl surrounding a radio on both the left & right side of the stage. They act as if they're switching the stations as we hear snippets of Ring The Alarm & Single Ladies. A video comes on of a little five year old Beyonce Knowles in a home video singing & then it goes into Radio off the album. While dancing, the screen does a split screen as she dances the same way she did in the video (half of the screen of her at age 5, the other half of her live performance for you slow thinkers). She then acknowledges her band & talks to the crowd a little bit more explaining the video as she goes into Me, Myself & I. She then goes into Ego & plays part of Kanye's verse (no Kanye though) & kills the song. She goes into Hello & its crazy how these chicks in the crowd really know her album cuts & not just the radio singles. (There was this cute little 10 year old singing behind me who won't have a voice for her last week of school.

Minor intermission as she lets her band show off their skills. The guitarist played some Michael Jackson, the pianist played some opera type shit & the 900 pound female triangle offense that she had as her back up singers sung a song or two.

There's a stage in the middle of the arena that has a woman dancing on the stage & everyone from a distance believes that its Beyonce until two more chicks appear on the main stage in the same outfit, same wig, same complexion, etc. We all realize it's not Beyonce because she appears in the middle of the main stage as she gets lifted to in the air as Baby Boy plays. As she glides through the air she does flips while hanging as she makes her way to the center of the arena. She then goes into her small rendition of the reggae song No, No, No (guess it makes sense after her the Sean Paul collabo just played). She talks to the crowd pointing out certain people in the audience & she asks that the crowd sing along as she sings Irreplaceable. She stares at different parts of the crowd as they scream & applaud for her for the next 2-3 minutes. She's joined on the center stage by her female dancers as she goes into the choruses of Check On It & Bootylicious. The male dancers take place of the females as she continues to do the chorus of Bug A Boo & Jumpin Jumpin. She then goes into Upgrade You & does a full verse & hook of that with no re-appearance of Jay Z. She then has all of her dancers on stage as she goes into Video Phone. When she's done she sits down & talks to a fan & asks him his name. The fool yells Legendary. The crowd laughs as he then says his name & she says, "Well what's my name"? He says Beyonce & she says, "Say My Name" so obviously she performed the Destiny's Child hit.

She heads to the back of the main stage as her dancers dance to Independent Woman, Bills, No No No, Beautiful Liar & Survivor keeping the crowd hype as she changes into her next outfit.

She comes back out in one of her Dereon gowns as she sings At Last & Listen.

10:10 PM...
She exits the stage as a video comes on showing various clips of peoples home videos of themselves dancing to Single Ladies. (They even showed the SNL skit with Justin Timberlake). They even had a clip of our president waving his hand the same way she does to the song. She returns to the stage doing Single Ladies. (Um, these two big girls were dancing in the aisle to my right & clearly show why they're still single. No shots at big people, they were just out of control in their crazy outfits). She then slows it down & goes into Halo as she comes down the steps & sings while walking along the front row touching her fans. She says her thank you's while asking that we give it up to her dancers, her band & Jay Z. She asks whose birthday it was today as she sings Happy Birthday to the crowd. I swore that she was gonna perform Daddy which was dedicated to her father since today was Father's Day but I guess not.... Show is a wrap... Goodnight.

I got the word that Ghostface was in Europe so that answers my question of how come he didn't come out to do Summertime with her.
