Like We Always Do At This Time!!!!!

PERFORMANCES - PLAY BY PLAY

Every year I'am at Summer Jam & can only tell my immediate circle of peoples who didn't make it but now I have you to tell of what went down. So, I arrive to the concert with my man DJ Keyz (tickets courtesy of DJ Envy as if y'all didn't know) as we watch a bunch of half naked woman walking around trying to get everyone's attention (it worked) but then get mad when someone tries to holla at them. Breasts half way out, t-shirts tight (even if they're stomach sticks out further than their breasts lol) & shorts so short up in their ass like they should be worn at night but no one was knocking the view or the dancing that was going on as a few nipple slips happened from dancing too hard. It was a good afternoon. It was the first Summer Jam at Giants Stadium in a while that had not a drop of rain so it made everyone attempt to put on their good clothes not caring that it's crazy walking in & out of the stadium, so your white sneakers will turn gray or black when they return home.... Anyway, let's get into the show.

First To The Stage: RAY J & YUNG BERG
Ray J starts off doing Wait A Minute. He brought out a keyboard & performed One Wish. He brought out Yung Berg to do Sexy Lady & then they finish up with Sexy Can I.

Next To The Stage: THE DREAM
He started out with Shawty Is A Ten & followed up with Falsetto & finished with I Luv Your Girl. I went to the Heart of the City Tour twice where he opened up & he did the same exact performance so it didn't move me a third time.

Next To The Stage: ALICIA KEYS
She came out wearing blue skin tight jeans with a wife beater on top. She started of with her remix verse of Ghetto Story & switched into Teenage Love Affair. She talks to the crowd asking them if they know any haters & that we don't need any of them out there. She starts singing Mary J Blige's Be Happy acapella & then Maino walks out & does his new single "Hi Hater". I didn't expect that at all & still don't understand how they made the connection but whatever. He does a verse, kisses her & walks off stage. She sits down at the piano, starts playing & singing Like You'll Never See Me Again. She brings out Raekwon as he does a verse of Incarcerated Scarfaces. After that, out walks Method Man & they do C.R.E.A.M. After that Ice Cream comes on & Ghostface walks out to does his verse. Method does his smash hit "M.E.T.H.O.D. MAN" juping off the stage onto the first platform. As he gets half way through his second verse he jumps in the crowd making. Wu-Tang leaves the stage & Alicia Keys finishes off with No One.

Next To The Stage: D-BLOCK
Sheek & Styles walk out on the stage as Kid Capri plays Fuck You. He plays 2 Guns Up & the crowd starts yelling as the marching sound is being played. They play the chorus of Benjamins, Wild Out & switch it up as they go into Kiss Your Ass Goodbye & they do a verse. Kid Capri says put your hand to the sky for B.I.G. as they play I Get High. They go into Gangster, Gangster & no one moved except the mixtape heads or the people who bought Styles P album. All of a sudden Red Cafe comes out & does Paper Touchin & he brought Fat Joe, Jadakiss & Fabolous to do it with him. after that. the Lox continue on with We Gon Make It. They go into Banned From TV & they bring out Nature & Noreaga as the crowd loses their mind again. Felt like 1998 for a quick minute. Styles does a verse of Blow My Mind. Swizz Beatz comes out & does Where The Cash At (which is too new to perform so the reaction was wack) & he does Money In The Bank. Sheek does a verse of Good Love & Kid Capri says since we doin it for the ladies let's keep it going & LL Cool J walks out & does Head Sprung & goes off stage.

Next To The Stage: T-PAIN
He comes out & does his verse to Unk's Two Step remix. He does his verse & chorus of Kiss Kiss as him & his two people dance silly as hell on the stage. He brings out Shawty Lo as he does Dey Know. After that out walks DJ Khaled & they do I'm So Hood & out walks Rick Ross (bare back, big belly & all). Khaled continues to yell as the song Cashflow comes on & out walks Ace Hood (the crowd screams crazy because half of them can't tell who's who unless they're watching the screen so they see a negro with braids & they think its Lil Wayne & when they realize its not they calm down immediately). COMEDY!!! After Rick Ross comes back out as he does The Boss. (Damnit, T-Pain is making me remember how many hooks he's on) After that We Takin Over comes on & out comes Akon. T-Pain does his verse on the remix, Rick Ross does his verse & Fat Joe walks out to do his verse. Half the stage leaves as T-Pain & Akon do Bartender & Buy You A Drink. He ends his performance & says "In the words of George Bush, Fuck Y'all Niggas, I'm Out".

Next To The Stage: LIL WAYNE (I thought he was closing ths show)
He comes out to tons of smoke as he does A Milli. He pauses & speaks to the crowd & then goes into his verse on the remix of Dey Know as Shawty Lo comes on the stage (and just stands there). He brings out Tity Boi of Playaz Circle & they do Duffle Bag Boy. He says, I brought out Shawty Lo, I brought out Tity Boi, so let me reintroduce myself & plays Cash Money Millionaire (from the first Carter album I believe because I was typing as he was on stage). Takes his shirt off & goes into Fireman. He sits down on a chair & starts playing his guitar as he sings to the women. He starts playing Leather So Soft with his guitar & the band. He takes off his guitar & does four full verses acapella of Pussy Monster. For what? He finally finishes the song & goes into Lollipop. After he does the song he turns around & yells out "Remix baaabbbbyyyy" & out walks Kanye West to do his verse. After Kanye leaves the stage he plays the chorus to Whitney Houstons "I Will Always Love You" & has the crowd sing it as he says I love you to the crowd while having someone come out putting a robe on him. Such a weak performance to me with all the songs that he has out.
Next To The Stage: KANYE WEST
He comes out to Diamonds Are Forever & does a verse. He goes into Champion & destroys it. He then goes into Get Em High & follows up with Jesus Walks. He pauses to talk to the crowd & says he's not gonna complain about anything, he's just gonna do him & show why he's the #1 artist in the world. He goes into Homecoming. He bring out Consequence as he does a verse of "Good, Bad & The Ugly". Consequence exits & Kanye does Can't Tell Me Nothin. He then goes into Put On as Young Jeezy runs out from the back as they perform the song together. As the screens start flashing, on comes Flashing Lights. He starts rhyming half way through the first verse (as if he forgot his words) & then starts freestyling the rest of the first verse then continues doing the chorus & hops into the second verse. As he's finishing up the second verse, Rita G walks out in a simlar outfit that she wore in the first video walking across the stage as she picks up a shovel & then walks off the stage. Kanye disappears off the stage to come back 20 seconds later to do Make Me Stronger. He goes into a freestyle acapella that I'm sure will be on You Tube within a day or two. Crazy! He then finishes up doing Good Life & T-Pain resurfaces to do the song with him.

Next To The Stage: PUBLIC ENEMY
Flavor Flav comes out in a bright ass red jogging suit wearing his clock as usual hyping up the crowd (the original hype man) as they play Jay Z's Show Em What You Got. Chuck D comes out & they go into Bring The Noise, Shut Em Down, 911 (meanwhile Flav is dancing all over the stage like he used to in the late 80's). They continue on with Can't Trust It. His soldiers are still dancing/stomping in circles as they always did. (If you don't know where hip hop was in the late 80's then there's no way in hell that you can appreciate their performance. Alot of people were sitting down, not moving because they're not familiar with the music which is why 70% of the crowd may be baffled as to why they came on so late not understanding how legendary they are). Chuck D stops the music to let the dj play old school songs & cut records up crazy like real dj's used to do before it turned into just touching buttons. He plays Chic's "Good Times" & Flav does the chorus acapella to "Can't Do Nuttin For Ya Man". Chuck D sends a political message to the crowd as they go into Don't Believe The Hype. Chuck D sends another political moving message to the crowd as they go into Fight The Power. Flavor Flav says the show is dedicated to Sean Bell & everyone locked up & thanks for making him have the number one show and Chuck D comes on once again with another message & they go finish up with a song that I've never heard before or just didn't recognize. Chuck D exits as Flavor leaves the crowd with a little message & then he exits.
Next To The Stage: JIM JONES
Jim Jones comes out as the original song "Bad to The Bone" is being played for about thirty seconds. He does a verse of Certified Gangsta & stops the music. He brings out Juelz Santana & he does Santana's Town. They go into the chorus of Byrd Gang Money & then Jim Jones goes into Baby Girl. He does Love Me No More & then they yell out Rest In Peace Stack Bundles. He does both of his verses to the remixes of Unk's Two Step & Walk It Out & immediately follows up with his smash, Ballin. He does the whole song & then him & his entourage exit the stage.
No Show: RIHANNA was suppose to perform but for some reason wasn't there!
