GLOW IN THE DARK TOUR @ MSG

While I didn't have the privilege to get tickets to this concert as I usually am, I did happen to get a few updates throught the show from my homie Lexx (of Tapemasters Inc.).

Lupe Fiasco was the tour opener & did about twelve songs total. He opened with Hip Hop Saved My Life, went into Go Go Gadget & Kick Push. Did a few songs in between & then he brought out his gold plaque that he got today for reaching 500,000 sales on the newest album, "The Cool". Matthew Santos came out & they performed Fighters & Superstar. He asked the crowd can he do one more song & he did Daydreaming & the crowd went crazy...

N.E.R.D. was next & Pharrell got the crowd hype immediately as they performed Rockstar. They also performed their second single called Spaz which was recently leaked to the internet which is played in a new commercial for Zune. While doing Spaz, Lupe came on stage & Teyana Taylor came out & danced. After, they went into Lapdance & the crowd went crazy. They did a few other songs & then went into their new single Everyone Nose as they all danced on stage & the drummer finishes up with his solo.

Rihanna came out next as Maneater (Nelly Furtado) is being played. She's wearing a huge black dress & the first song she performed was Breaking Dishes. She takes the dress off & goes into Break It Off. She continues on with Pon De Replay & she performed Beenie Man's "Who Am I", M.I.A.'s "All I Wanna Do Is Take Your Money" & Lauryn Hill's "That Thing". The lights go out and the dancers come on stage as Rihanna dips to the back & changes her outfit. The dancers are acting like they're on the moon & the guitar starts playing as she returns to the stage dressed in a red space suit & she performs S.O.S. As the dancers leave the stage, she slows the tempo of the show to do Hate That I Love You & Unfaithful. She switches it up & does Please Don't Stop The Music as the dancers come out with glow sticks. She thanks New York & says that it's her favorite city to perform in as she shouts out Kanye west, Lupe Fiasco & N.E.R.D. She announces that she's going to perform her biggest record ever & the crowd knew what it was as Umbrella comes on & they're all singing "ella ella ay ay". While the crowd was anticipating Jay Z to come out but realize that the beginning of the song passed already so that's a dead issue, out walks Chris Brown as they perform the remix, Cinderella, and the females lose their mind screaming for him as they're making puddles on the floor from all their vagina leakage lol. After the song is done, they hug & leave the stage.

Kanye West is the headliner of course & he comes out as if he's in outer space. He says "This is our last mission before we head home". He's laying on the ramp of the spaceship as Stronger comes on & the spaceship (computer) says damage detected. As Kanye is laying down, the ship says "Wake up Mr. West". Kanye sits up. The ship says "We have landed on an unknown planet". Kanye says "Where are we"? Kanye stands up & starts snapping his fingers & Heard Em Say starts to play. The spaceship says "Remember, this is not your first crash". After, Champion comes on followed up by Diamonds & Can't Tell Me Nothin. Every song being played has a different beat than the original (guessing because they're in space somewhere). Flashing Lights comes on (a different version) as Kanye starts dancing crazy on stage. All of a sudden, an alien bubble comes on stage & Kanye says "I'm Kan-Yeezy" & the alien says, "We know who you are, you're the biggest star ever". He then does All Falls Down. He finishes & says, I ain't have a woman in so long, I need some pu**y". On comes Gold Digger. Crowd goes crazy & after comes on Good Life. He sung the whole song with the annoying auto tuner. Jesus walks then comes on & then he goes into Hey Mama. He goes to the side of the stage. He talks to the spaceship computer (whose name is Jane) & she tells him that he is the only hope because he can glow in the dark. Stronger comes on. He's going crazy on the spaceship & the lights are crazy. The lights go out. Everyone is chanting, Kanye Kanye Kanye & then Homecoming comes on. He goes into Touch The Sky & Lupe Fiasco comes out. After, he talks to the crowd & introduces the band.... The End!
